The biggest (and most profitable) reason to have a business coach

"DUH!  Why in the heck didn't I think of that?!"

Have you ever had one of those moments when someone else sees something in you, or your business that you had no clue existed?

No matter how big your business is, no matter how successful you are now... there are ALWAYS
opportunities for breakthroughs from the things you now take for granted.

Take my business, for example.  Having made many millions of dollars for my clients through the marketing
campaigns I put together for them... you'd think I'd see the obvious opportunities in my own business.

Nope.

Missed a few BIG ONES so far - today my business coach pointed them out to me.  Another person in a
mastermind group pointed out a few more. Collectively, the ideas they both gave me could add a substantial amount (we are talking mid to high six figures) to my business in the next year.

This is EXACTLY why I have a business coach,
and why I participate in mastermind groups...

Because I am not perfect - I DO tend to miss things.

Coaches and mastermind groups help you see the potential opportunities in your business... things that you don't typically see.  When you live and breathe your business like all entrepreneurs do, it is easy to let opportunities fly right by without notice. 

When you have people you are accountable to, they help you see those things and help you turn a potential lost opportunity into a profitable new line of products or services.

Another big reason why I have coaches and mastermind groups, is that they keep you accountable.  As an entrepreneur, you typically have few people to truly report to (which is the exact reason most of us become our own boss).  But this can also be our downfall and a major weakness that develops.  The longer you go without someone to talk to, someone to report in with, the more things you will let slide as you know there
are no real consequences to your lack of action.  Granted, entrepreneurs are a very smart group of individuals, and are THE fuel for economies around the world. 

When you have a business coach, you are held accountable for your actions, your commitments, and your
direction in business.  My coach meets with me once a week for 90 minutes.  It is a lot of time out of my schedule - but it is invaluable to me and my business.  We go through what went good in the past week - what went bad - and what specific opportunities are front and center . From there a specific step-by-step action plan is developed that I commit to for the following week.  It is a fabulous system that I have
modelled in my own coaching program, The Million Dollar Blueprint Coaching and Mastermind  Group. 

One coaching client saw a 34% growth in her spa business in the first 30 days.  Another easily doubled her revenues, and built some incredible new profit centers.  Yet another has gone on and created a new business from scratch, booked herself solid, and sold 150 tickets to her first seminar, 5 months before it is to take place.

So, as much as I love the help as I get from my business coach, my own coaching clients love what they are getting from my own coaching program.

The New Year has just begun, so you have before you the perfect time to think this through and put yourself in the right circle of people to make it all happen.  2008 can easily be your best year ever!  But, you cannot do it on your own - and it will not be the year you want it to be if you ignore the power of coaching and mastermind groups.  There is no better feeling than checking off your goals list all the things you made happen during the year.  There is no worse feeling than starting the New Year off to a bad start, because you know you did not do what you should have done last year to get the results you wanted.

Now is the time to start.

Now is the time to reinvent your business and life to ensure that 2008 is the year that you wish 2007 was.

I hope you think this through and consider how easy life can be when you are making two or three times the money that you are now.  You can take more time off... you can pay down those debts... you can hire more staff and expand your business so it is not so reliant on you being there 24x7... and you can finally let the money fix some of the problems that not having money created.

I completely agree! There is nothing more important in the formula for success than the power of mastermind groups! Even a business coach is, in essence, another form of mastermind. There is always more to learn. And using this tool provides us, innately, with a plethora more, most of which are readily accessible to anyone.
