This just in...
Dave Rachford is a great guy and an awesome marketer. He
recently emailed me the following as an example of GREAT
MARKETING and advertising.
... "Thought you might like to look at an interesting DM piece
from Toyota. As you know, I bought a brand new Toyota FJ
cruiser (with "Dan Kennedy" money earned from
www.cpamarketingcenter.com ), now they want to send me a die
cast model for my desk.
Cool - I want it! Heck it's free.
Then they will hit me with "service specials" especially for me:
-Recommended service intervals
-Stories from other FJ owners just like me (community)
-discounts from Barnes & noble, Tivo, T-mobile and Bass Pro
shops....
In other words, they send me a $2 car model, they sell / rent my
name, and they pepper me with offers for accessories & such.
Not a bad deal, I want the car model!
Of course it's "Free gift with purchase" but its a nice little
surprise - and a smart marketing agency move for Toyota. I
wonder if the big three US dinosaurs are doing the same thing?

As you can see - Toyota is well versed in building a "fence
around their herd" as Dan Kennedy so easily explains. Keeping
your clients happy is the surest way to build your business year
- after year - after year. From repeat purchases to an
incredible referral base, these types of strategies will always
bring you solid growth.
Now - how many ideas out of this short article could you use in
your business?
Also - if you are in, or know other in, their own accounting
practice - may SURE you send them to Dave's
www.cpamarkingcenter.com - his strategies work! His own Cruiser
is decked out from head to toe with a vehicle wrap advertising
his one business - destined to get massive publicity and
attention.
