Well, it's now time to start planning for May/June/July
promotions.
Look at the time it will take to write your promo, organize
printing and envelope stuffing, mailing etc. 3 weeks can
fly by in no time.
Here are a few upcoming events (with grabber ideas to be
attached to top of the letter - see www.orientaltrading.com
for a ton of grabber ideas) that tie in nicely to your
promotions:

mothers, specials for those who love their mothers, specials
for those who want to give a gift to a mother)

always great at fixing boo-boos)
30) Australia’s first dentist Simon Lear starts to yank out
teeth (1818) - (how many ideas can you come up with around

Just found your blog, and I love it! Terrific articles that I found myself nodding and agreeing with again and again.
This article is so true, and applies not only to sales letters but also to in store promotions and any kind of paid advertising. There are excuses to advertise and tie in every day of the year. Most of us simply don't take the time to do a good job with our marketing, let alone an excellent job.
Thanks for this outstanding resource for small businesses.

Hi Becky, Welcome! Always great to hear from those visiting - and hopefully will continue to visit :o)
Completely agree - there are ample opportunities to be more effective in your marketing - if you make an effort to do so. Unfortunately, 95% of businesses seem to care less about their marketing - and their profits.
Hopefully, they learn some of the basics of better marketing - and, more importantly, do something about it through implementing these types of techniques!
I also write for my own blog at http://www.blog.careswhite.com where you will find other articles as well.
Thanks again, Troy

Google Stillstand?
