Making 2006 your least annoying of them all...
Happy holidays
Another Christmas passed by in a blur... and another
year is right around the bend.
How did your year stack up to what you wanted?
There is so much hype around this time of year, it is easy
to get all worked up about things.
I have twin 5 year old daughters and they were soooooo
excited about Christmas this year.
Too excited actually - they both ended up being sick for the
holidays.
Tired and worn out... not a fun way to celebrate the biggest
day of the year (at least it is for 5 year olds).
DON'T let that happen to you. Getting caught up in all the
excitement is fun - but if it makes you forget about the
things that really matter (like health) - it certainly isn't
worth it.
For example, New Years even is right around the bend and
everyone focuses in on their resolutions for the year...
planning for what is to be the best year ever.
Resolutions and goals ARE a must - but there is one other
thing you must consider.
What negative things do you want to eliminate from your
business life?
Write them down. Some common ones:
- managing emails
- paper work and filing
- cold calls
- doing your own press releases
- looking after shipping of products yourself
- managing your web sites and marketing yourself
- taking phone calls (versus having a receptionist)
- doing it all yourself without an assistant
- placing your own advertisements
- writing your own advertisements
No matter what yours are, write them down and plan to get
rid of 3-5 of them this year.
Do whatever it takes to eliminate these annoyances from your
life.
Plus, work diligently at achieving all your big goals as
well.
2006 is lining up to be a stellar year, make sure your goals
included eliminating the annoyances in your business.
