One of the things I discovered in my quest for success was a
simple formula that every single successful marketing or
advertising campaign used.
I teach it in depth in my Marketing ESP Course... and today
I want to share one part of the P component (each part of
the E-S-P formula has 5 components - so 5 parts to E, 5
parts to S and 5 parts to P.
One of the most common problems with small business is
ignoring your Profits. Not only ignoring it, but feeling
guilty for making it.
I went for lunch the other day with a colleague and this was
her number one problem in business. A thriving business
she had created with happy clients and an ever-growing
following. But she makes little money doing it.
She (and a large majority of entrepreneurs) forget that you
NEED to make a profit to stay in business. You must offer
things for sale that keeps your profits flowing and ever-
increasing. You must offer products and services at varying
price points to your clients - and let THEM decide which
they want to buy.
NOTE: Your customers NEED you to make a profit... if you
don't you will go out of business... and if you are out of
business... you cannot help them any further. So you must
make a profit in your business - and your customers want you
to make a profit.
The only way to do this is to make them some offers.
Come up with special offers they will not find anywhere else
- and will not find at any other time.
For example, school is coming up quickly - why don't you run
a back to school red hot special. Bundle up 5 different
products or services you sell so the value is high - then
give them a discount on your back to school special if they
buy all at once, and buy right now.
You will be surprised at how many people will spend big
bucks with you - if you ask.
Make the offer unique, and irresistible... and they will
respond.
Maybe not 100% of them - but if even 10% of your clients
took you up on an offer that brings you 10 times more profit
per transaction - you will pocket a nice tidy profit and
your clients get deals on things they never would have had.
Everyone wins.
Try this simple thing out - and make yourself a profit -
your customers insist on it!
